I acknowledge my sin
Iniquity I hide not
I say, I do confess
my transgressions to the LORD
God forgave my sinful heart
And washed me on the inside
What a captivating title that lured me to read this cleverly written poem. Brilliant! A masterstroke. To my favorites
Indeed, it is paramount that we admit our sin and seek forgiveness each day, as you've well expressed here. And, at the same time, God's grace in new each morning, and He is faithful to forgive. Soli Deo Gloria! And thank you, Rob, for sharing this.
I meant to say this the first time a read it, but this piece has a very well-thought-through title!
An interesting poetic form by Rob Lamberton so well crafted.
This is a very beautiful piece, Rob! Glory be to our Redeemer, who chose us when we could not choose Him! ! ! He has washed us with His blood and made our soiled garments white as snow! Thank you for sharing this!
