678. Poem by Jaden Knight

The 4 tusked grey elephants march to war
over a thousand of them in a staggered formation
wearing long spiked bands on each ankle
a small tower strapped to their backs

Each level holds 6 archers from the Chandira clan
all clad in green and black armoured robes
armed with composite bows and barbed spears
every tip dulled slightly with scorpion venom

The army has never been defeated
it has been long since any have faced them in battle
now everyone would rather flee in terror
rather than being trampled or pierced with many points

While the land may seem peaceful now
you should always keep a careful watch
in case the ground should start to tremble
when the 4 tusked grey elephants march to war
