A Belief In The Hitting Of Bricks Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

A Belief In The Hitting Of Bricks

Believe nothing.
Especially if,
A repeated running into a brick wall...
Has yet to cement its purpose.
But then again...
Maybe this has become the addiction needed,
That one pretends prevents head trips.
And a belief in the hitting of bricks,
Numbs the facing of real issues.

Brick walls are there for a reason. The brick walls are not there to keep us out. The brick walls are there to show how badly we want something. Because the brick walls are there to stop the people who don’t want something badly enough. They are there to keep out the other people. - Randy Pausch. Have always thought about it whnever i have faced a brickwall repeatedly..

This is true, but if your angry would you want to lash out on someone who you love or the bricks. Sometimes all one has to do is take a step and think. A clear head serves more purpose then one clouded by rage.
