A Blessed Day Poem by Paul Sebastian

A Blessed Day

Rating: 5.0

Who would I touch today?
Touch someone by a smile?
Or in a kind word I would say?
A kind act: Mother Teresa’s style?

Before the day’s set of sun
A piece of love to some soul share
I pray, some kind act done
Passing day blessed: I was there

I pray, each day is not lived in vain
Lord, use me to do what you will
Your love in me, heal a soul in pain
Your purpose in me, see fulfilled

You have touched me today by your kind words of generous praise and brought a smile to my lips! Thanks! Though we may not be able to render great service to others, we can easily alleviate the pain in someone's heart through a kind word or even a warm smile! A poem free flowing and so meaningful!

Dear Paul, This is a great poem. So true. everyday can be a miracle. If we just keep our eyes open for the opportunities that come our way to help, to perform a kind act, to do something nice. I love the poetic way in which this is expressed here. excellent.
