A Brain To Think

A brain to think a heart to feel
What a blessed combination
To bring the truth to heart and mind
And make the application
Christ surrendered His all for me
Now I surrender my all for Him
His love the treasure of eternity
Gives victory over sin

His Cross displaying the ugly side
Of men separated from God
The vehemency of punishment
The chastening of sins rod
While Angel's help from God was restrained
He took God's wrath for me
And settled death's sentence...once for all!
That day at Calvary

Praise God I have a heart and mind
To bring me to the Cross
To help me see all that I've gained
While He! ...He paid all the cost
There's No excuse for unbelief
By faith He has made it known
For whomsoever repents and believes
The mind and heart both feel His home!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
