A Christian died and ended at the pearly gate
Standing in line waiting to hear their final fate,
In front and behind them they saw and felt no hate
But, long was the wait.
Then when it was finally their turn
They had no worries and not one concern,
As their final ever lasting destination they were eager to learn
They knew undoubtedly, that they would not burn.
.
Jesus asked the Christian, "what they were doing here"?
"This is Heaven", they said to him, to make their self clear,
They just died and here they just did appear
And happily they were to enter heaven with their loved ones dear.
Jesus then looked and searched for their known fruits
But, all he found was Jewelry, cash, credit cards and suits,
And also their reconstructed attributes
And also all their grassroots.
In life you didn't do want you were required to do
When myself and my teachings you never truly applied or knew,
From me you walked away and you never grew
Then the Christian said, "I lived the life you wanted me to".
You were told to love thy neighbor, but you deported them all
You were told to help the poor and needy, but you watched them fall,
And whenever your soul I tried to call
You! just put a post-it note on the wall.
I wanted you to feed the hungry, but you instead took lunches away
But, it was because of the budget you constantly did say,
While those poor and needy hungry children did go hungry and pray
You then treated and fed the wealthy, every single day.
I condemned adultery and lust wherever it thrives
And the sin that it drives,
It is written in the Bible and in all of Heaven's archives
But, you praised a man who cheated on everyone of his wives
More generous and charitable I wanted you to be
But, once again you didn't believe or trusted in me,
What you did and didn't do, I did see
You cared for your own wealth, because eggs aren't free.
I do not stand for hatred, but you criticized people for who they are
If they didn't believe like you, them you would bar,
You saw yourself constantly as a smart and intelligent star
And you saw them only as a scab, a scar.
You were suppose to be kind, but of course you were not
You made fun of everyone not like you, you sought,
Hate and bigotry is all that you ever taught
Sin, from your belief is all that you got.
"I went to church every Sunday", the Christian then cried
After meeting and listening to Jesus on the day that he died,
"I also gave tithes and a ton of money", the Christian applied
Then the Christian noticed, that the road wasn't wide.
