A Clunk Clunk Poet Turning Point Generation Poem by Terence George Craddock

A Clunk Clunk Poet Turning Point Generation

we were not born part of the compute
compute computer generation
we were the pencil then pen
school chalk blackboard generation
we were the writing slow by hand
paper pen poet generation
a poet then might paper write;
then clunk clunk clunk type out a poem

not an electric spell check writer speed
write done send generation
now could not would not understand
an isolated poet generation
we were a poet writer rural urban loner;
not read isolated poet generation

from feather quill ink
parchment candle generation
from feather sharpened quill ink;
parchment candle night burning generation
to paper pen electric light electricity technology;
we were turning point cusp generation
slow speed thought thinking generation;
not Grammarly click suggestion accept it generation
