A Concord Protocol All May Safety Pass In Fog Mist Poem by Terence George Craddock

A Concord Protocol All May Safety Pass In Fog Mist

for some strange reason
heavy mist water vapour
changes animal behaviour
not seen at a prey distance
we meet as sudden equals
in blanket mist squeeze in

as if some ancient agreed upon dust code accord
binds animals humans in concordant settlement
an entente treaty vouchsafe written into fog mist
an harmonious consent in status yield recognition
a grant right all hoof paw hand may in safety pass
a concord protocol all may safety pass in fog mist
