A Country's Fatal Meltdown. Poem by Sandra Feldman

A Country's Fatal Meltdown.

You see the boat of prosperity
And wellness,
Float, down the river
With no Captain,
At the helm!

You pour, yourself
A cup of sadness
Try to change,
The bitter madness
But complacently,
The lack of logic
And all the
Catastrophic visons
Of a Country
Run, by very bad
Decisions,
Stays in place
As if there were,
No one with a conscience
Knowing what to do,
Or even care...

The great America
Of decent men
Hard work and Courage
Fair opportunity
And laws of knowledge
No longer there...
