A Critic's Dark Soul Poem by Shaun Cronick

A Critic's Dark Soul

Rating: 5.0

They'll stab you with their steely knives,
And slyly whisper words of malice.
Trying so hard to get in you head,
To rack and ruin your memory palace.

They all belittle your latest work,
Proclaiming it's so dreadfully cliched.
Their abject cruelty knows no bounds,
When a critic's dark soul is displayed.

Critics all around us! ! However, positiveness is the key! Able to overcome the odds. Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
