A Day At The Beach Poem by Joshua Beavan

A Day At The Beach

Rating: 5.0

As I walk along the beach, the waves crashing near,
The sound of thunder through my ear;
The soft crystal sand slides through my feet,
The fearing of love kind of like a treat;

As the mist of water passes through the air,
It goes over my face and through my hair;
The salt In the air, stinging my lips,
As if I was eating salt and vinegar chips;

As I watch the sun shine down on the sea,
The glistening water, is enough comfort for me
The eyes from the rocks, its face to be
The only thing that, you can’t make flee;

As the waves crash near, they soon retreat,
To the bottom of the ocean, within a beat:
The dunes look down, casting spell’s,
Over the ocean, covering the shells;

As the sun goes down, the horizon draws near,
The sea goes dead with nothing to hear;
The colours in the sky, to great for me,
The beach is a great place I hope you can see.

A sweet poem for a beginner like you Joshua. You have done well. You can create still better if you spend sometime during your vacation at a sea beach to experience it yourself.
