A Dedicated Sonnet To The Warriors At Western Sea

In the depths of the sea and holly land, they lie,
The young and patriotic solders of the Cheon-An battleship,
Now their valiant hearts stilled, no longer to fly
But the Taegeug flags always with them on their sea-trip.

The national waves that once, carried them to the fight,
Now, hollowed land cradle them in their eternal rest,
For country their sacrifice showed the symbol of what's right,
And they showed the courage spurt in their breast.

They fought and died for freedom, for their country's cause,
And in their hearts, 'cause they knew what must be done,
Their spirits soar to heaven, in angels' applause,
And in the hearts of all the people, their memory lives on.

So let us remember the soldiers who bravely fell,
And honor their invincible heart which never fell!
