A Deed, A Price Poem by Rob Knetsch

A Deed, A Price

you know
yes you know
you know why
yes you know why

tell me
tell me why
why did you
tell me why you did

i ask you
i ask you when
when did you
i ask you when did you

they told me
they warned me
that you have done it
they told me all about it

it was you
you and no one else
nobody else but you
are the one who did it

it will be you
yes only you
you will be the one
the one that will pay

FIRST PART: This poem reminds me about a law in nature, one has to pay for the guilt that person hand done. Here I only wants to show that I do not deal in letting the other pay back when

LAST PART: I am harmed, but to forgive needs quite a long period of time. I have enjoyed this honest poem, thank you for sharing. I can forgive, I have learned that, but I am not saying that I am a saint or some holy figure, none at all. Just as human as you with many sins according to God´s Law. A 10 Vote for this ardent poem.
