A Falling Stars Wish Poem by Katherine Perry

A Falling Stars Wish

Rating: 4.5

My night and shining armor
Come rescue me from the cold
There's no room for a charmer
Just a little part of your soul

Sometimes I feel like I'm trying too hard
And then sometimes not hard enough
I don't need a message from some 'I love you' card
But a message from a heart that's in-love

They say being in-love is different than loving someone
But I feel they are both the same
For falling in-love has to first come from
Love's first feeling, not from a game

Although a game has to come from playing a part
That part only exist of a chance to win
For true love has to come only from a heart
An innocent heart from where love begins

Okay, so love may never take you as high as the stars
And love may never come from the first kiss
Because there is no measurment of love and how far
Just the belief in a falling star's wish!
