A Father's Feelings Poem by Vibhor Jain

A Father's Feelings

He is handsome, we are proud
He walks around a like a free cloud.
Life feels like heaven, when he smiles,
Just to hug him, I could travel lots of miles.
He is brave, he is intelligent.
He is kind, he is brilliant.
World becomes silent, when he says 'suno'
He says 'papa ka' when asked 'kiske betu ho',
He likes copying animals voices,
He copies me making different faces.
After all day of fun when he sleeps,
then we remember our other deeds.
My top priority is to fulfill his wishes,
he reciprocate my gifts with his kisses.
Now I see what my father used to say,
that you ll know when your hair will turn grey
Whatever the reason is, fathers don't scold,
if they do, it's a burden of regret that they hold.
