Gone are those days when
We didn't need to think about calories before eating.
We didn't have to plan everything in advance.
We didn't have to decide what to wear for a party.
We didn't have to check before speaking.
We didn't need to make every decision on our own.
We didn't care about how corrupt the system is.
We didn't need to choose bad leader amng worse
Gone are those days….
Every morning had a new excitement,
now every morning comes with a new challenge.
Telling a lie was a sin,
now it's a necessary part of life.
People used to welcome us gladly,
now host behaves as how expensive gift we share.
Few pennies were enough to make us happy,
now we can't be happy with millions of rupees.

Gone are those days…..

Getting sick was a good omen to avoid school.
People didn't judge our talent by our funds.
Few moments with friends were enough for sleeping calmly at night.
Coming back home were the happiest moments to share stories of whole day.
Saddest thing was getting scolded by parents.
We got scared of ghost stories.
We never thought how life will end…

Gone are those days….
