A Few Words To
The Loveliest Dot

After visiting the sick
what do I notice, what do I lark?
not the alert dogs in the neighbourhood which bark
the moon lightens the way for me
how loveliest you shine I see

on that darkest spot
I owe you a very very lot
you have grown up to a full dot
such an enjoyable way so bright
to give me light on my way from such a height

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
In the earliest mornings, the moon is away, but when I came home from the sick, in the early evenings, the moon has become a full dot, not the Corn Full Moon or the Stirgeon Full Moon, but just the humble January Full Moon, how enchanting and loveliest! Since there was no storm, I could see her, all the way lighting me brightly, thank you so much for sharing, heartiest greetings from The Netherlands, Sylvia Frances Chan,24 January 2024
