It's very sad and deplorable what kids and single parents go through after being abandoned by either daddy or mummy. The emotional trauma, the insecurity, the rejection, ... are too much to bear. I am quite moved by this poem. I cannot imagine what my children would have gone through, if I had abandoned them at any stage. Your poem touched me in the core of my heart. I am glad that in your poem, you have not spitted venom at your negligent and delinquent father, as I read in many poems written by poets of your age, under similar circumstances. I am not a Christian though, yet I believe, as Mr. Nobody has commented on your poem, that 'love is always the answer'.
