A Fleeting Minute Poem by David Harris

A Fleeting Minute

Rating: 5.0

I pass this way one time only
a fleeting minute in eternity
and what I do in that minute
is entirely up to me.
Whether I go down bad roads
or make the right turns,
my passing only indicates
which way I followed.
Some say we have
another life somewhere,
a second chance to do things
with the utmost care
and no trails and tribulations
to torment our lives.
They call that place heaven
and we reach when the long sleep comes.
Until my minute is over
and the sun sets on me,
I will follow wherever
my road leads me.

Moments in the universal scheme of things are all we have, kind of sad when life must be sipped to discover what we really have... Andy 10
