A Friend For Life - Poem by Orlando Belo
I bought this dog
as a friend for life.
When I took it home,
it bit the wife.
and it had to go.
So we went for a walk,
in the rain and snow.
I thought for a while,
about my friend and wife,
and realised that it would be better
to really have a friend for life.
