A Friend Named Cathy - Poem by catherine moll
I had this friend by the name of Cathy, We met in a really strange way.
We both were abused by a man we both knew, and eventually he had his day.
Cathy had started to enjoy her life, a mother of two and a soon to be wife.
Then tragedy struck, she was taken from us, one of a few I could actually trust.
I had this friend by the name of Cathy, I did'nt have a clue, that she'd take her own life so much sadness inside, I sure do miss her too!
I have this friend by the name of Cathy who I have'nt seen in quite a few years. We still keep in touch on the phone and such, we even might shed a few tears.
I wish I could say that her health was okay, that would be a great start.
But the doc told my friend she was nearing the end that she has a very weak heart.
I know this person her name is Cathy who definately misses all three.
How do I know? Cause I wrote this poem. The other Cathy is Me
