I used to think all was not.
Which then lead to deeper thoughts.
Too many tears were then shed.
And I thought that, well, tomorrow I would be dead.
I said, ''No, just wait one more day...
See what might lay ahead.''
Each night saying this to myself...
And just telling myself things I did not believe.
Like, '' a 'good' day will come...
Some way...
Some day...''
And I'd cry myself to sleep.
So this is just what I did for years.
And if I may...
I must admit,
That this is what saved my life.
After one of these very nights,
I found help,
And happiness is no longer just a dream.
So through all the pain,
And the new tears that may come each day,
Please listen and let me say,
That there will be a good day.
(...And this goes out to everyone, even those that may not be in this much pain.)
