A Good Plan Poem by Deluke Muwanigwa

A Good Plan

Rating: 5.0

I carry on into the night of a bright day
The images on my retina in shades of gray
What i see i know is not what i get
In broadlight i tiptoe in the darkness like on a movie set
Perhaps when the day becomes night
I will be able to see clearly in the darkness so bright
I shan't be relying on the image on my retina
I will follow the vivid burns in my souls Gethesmane
Hoping to make sense of the variety of olives
That, if not clear to me, i will have to leave
Life has become unclear in its purpose
Lawyers, psychologists and puppeteers wrapping words in multi speak
An honest person getting left behind between two peaks
Agent Cooper enforcing artificial law and order
The short child of the undertaker dancing round and round getting bolder
Do i fight?
Do i take flight?
Do i follow?
Do i stoop so low?
So low as to live in synchronity?
With a system obviously doomed to obscurity?
It's not clear
I fear
I must see no evil hear no evil
The rulers are not civil
They get a thrill
When they kill
Best thing is to disgorge my eyes during the day
Accept the tainted filthy lucre they pay
Replace them during the bright night
And as far as humanly possible to do what's right.
On the day of reckoning
I know those days are beckoning
I shall say i did not know
I was blind i could not see the wall
That's a good plan
A good plan

Superb! ! ! Best thing is to disgorge my eyes during the day Accept the tainted filthy lucre they pay Replace them during the bright night......I wish I could do this.
