A Guiding Light Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

A Guiding Light

A wagging tail, a happy bark,
Two furry friends, a joyful lark.
No tantrums loud, no endless cries,
Just grateful licks and loving eyes.

They follow rules, they learn with ease,
A leader's voice brings them to please.
A gentle hand, a firm command,
Respect is found, across the land.

For little ones, it's quite a fight,
With wills so strong, and day and night.
When all is given, nothing held,
A different path, has been compelled.

So be quite kind, with pets and youth,
But boundaries clear, that's honest truth.
For in that structure, love can bloom,
And peace will fill, each happy room.
