A Hard Work Ethic: Might Set Up A Beautiful Lifetime? Poem by Terence George Craddock

A Hard Work Ethic: Might Set Up A Beautiful Lifetime?

in the past if hard effort made intelligence applied
a parent patron person had guided with a sure hand
in an environment pick of plentiful choices supplied

then there once existed a stepping stone
into a profusion of possibilities...

glittering gems like a forest of diamonds
in a supermoon moonlight twinkling...

like stars spanning an entire universe
of waiting wonder the road not taken...

was wood smoke drifting on the wind
dissipating into a chill cold winter's night...

there was a stepping stone into faith
there was a stepping stone into adventure
there was a stepping stone into life
there was a stepping stone into love...

a stepping stone into romantic dream bliss
written to warm your heart soul with love
to outlast even the longest hardest lifetime...
