A Lantern Kiss Poem by Leslie Alexis

A Lantern Kiss

Rating: 5.0

A bright lantern kiss between you and I,
It is soft as the breeze and big as the sky.
Bright is the moment in our little place.
We touch our hearts, by joining our face.

We share a breath, we breathe as one.
Together we are, selfishness is gone.
When we kiss, I am you, and you are me;
With our eyes closed, visions of us we see.

The time of a kiss is like eternity.
When my arms hold you close to my heart,
Time stands still and we go on.
Fate and freewill plays our song.

You're the fuel of my fire-your love I trust.
I will love you forever-even when I'm dust.
