A Life Without Trust - Poem by caz smith

Once there was a girl
She had a problem with trust,
Her parents were worried
That she was full of lust

A lack of trust
Had saddened her life,
To make sure
She was never a wife

Her friends left her
They thought she sucked,
Her life had turn
All to muck

She had a boyfriend
Who did care,
But that had made her
Want to Scare

He was there
But she was not
Even though she
Cared a lot

Changes were
To be made
And all the plans
They had lade

The closer he
Came
The more the words
Meant the same

Sorry was a sad
Word,
held together
By a cord

Promises were
Useless
It made it all
Such a mess

Side by side
Or miles apart,
his friendship is
close to her heart.

So she fell in love with him
and she’ll never let him go
she loved him more than anyone
she just had to let him know
