A Lifetime Of Moments Poem by David Harris

A Lifetime Of Moments

Rating: 5.0

We live a lifetime of moments
some good, some bad, some indifferent.
Some we remember and some we forget.
Some are placed within our heart
to remain there always.
Some are discarded too readily
as ones we want to forget,
but every moment is written down in time
and will remain there forever.
Waiting for someone whom may have a key
to unlock all the moments there
and set them free.
Until that day comes along,
we live in the moments that we have created.

What a lovely idea! The gathering of moments. I know in performance, actors refer to 'moments' on stage - when you can hear a pin dropp sort of moments. Yes, this poem is rather beautiful and reminds us all to 'live' each moment in all it's singular intensity. love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
