A Light That Comes Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

A Light That Comes

A light that comes to shine,
Bright over one done...
Who had been too long,
In a dark place to feel.
With discomfort to know,
Everything about it is wrong.
Awakens to find the light.
And stays to bathe,
In its brightness as if...
Returning from a battle,
Of homesickness to end it.
