A Little Faith Goes A Long Way

Rating: 5.0

Whoever seeks the way,
Trusts himself
Faith in his heart, will find it.

Still some loiter
And lose the way,
For those who live by the senses
Will die with the senses,
For they only last with this frail frame.

To him who has faith, grace blazes the way
For faith is the way, the strength and the goal,
Faith is the guiding star.

Still the way needs to be faced,
To be contended with to earn grace.
Like us, Saints and Avatars came by the grace
The hard way too.

When once God needed us
Opiated by the senses, we turned our back on him.
The world became our god.

We flogged him,
We crucified him
We chased him
We even stoned and banished him to heartless forests.

He gave us a choice
And few chose the right way.
Not that he is now taking revenge:
God is love
Even the sinner finds peace at his feet, say the wise men.

Except by prayer, deep meditation, good actions and remorse
We find the way to his heart again
That is, face with steadfastness and faith the thorns and the brambles of life.

He is near,
He is always near to give us a helpful nudge.
He is aware of our weakness,
That we are inclined to err.

His heart is tender and his love immeasurable.
His mind is always engaged in getting us,
The Spirit in us, back to him again.
