A Little Secret Poem by Randy McClave

A Little Secret

A little life secret that we all should know
When people done you wrong they let you go,
They will run and hide just to avoid you
That is what they do.
Whenever you loan someone a dollar
They then become a constant caller,
You are then become their very best friend
And they swear that you are until the end.
They promise that soon they will pay you back
Currently the funds they do sadly lack,
But, one fact from them you will have learned
Your money will never ever be returned.
They will then cry and complain and pout
Saying how you can easily do without,
And they are so very poor
Then you won't ever hear from them no more.
