A Love Of False Accusations Poem by Daniel Warner

A Love Of False Accusations

Rating: 3.5

You told me I was wrong
you told me I wasn't good enough
I said that I was strong,
but you still didn't believe in us.
You told me I couldn't handle this love
you told me it isn't to be
I said look into the skies above
they're your eyes still you disagreed
You told me I loved you
I said what you meant to me
you said this love is untrue,
but, in turn, was a selfish soliloquy.
I told you I loved you
I told you to think straight,
but this love was never overdo
for our love had to abate
so I a bid you a elated adieu.
