A Lover's Morning Poem by james watkin

A Lover's Morning

Rating: 5.0

With Day borne aloft, of
A glad pulsation
What ballast has our love
We cannot outrun
Even Time's devouring, dear!
There go the moorings
As we kiss; there, earthly
Cares to shrunken things.
