A Mild Tempest Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

A Mild Tempest

A mild tempest
It was!
Little rain
Yet
Throughout
The
Whole night!
A
Little
Mild
Snow
Occasional
And
Rare
Not
Continuous
A
Lightning
Across
The
Heavens
Rare
In
The
Mild
Chills
In
The
Mild
Frosts
Discovering
Uncovering
More
Than
One
Town
In
A
Blinding
Light!
Romantic
Alas
For
short
Time!
And
the
same
with
the
thunder
evanescent
romantic
and
proud
and
the
wind
neighed
in corners
of
doors
and
of balconies
and
of windows
but
not
wild
not
savage
not
strong
but
mild
as
the
tempest
not
wild.
