A Million Miles An Hour Poem by Shaun Cronick

A Million Miles An Hour

Rating: 5.0

Why the haste,
Why the hurry.
Always rushing,
Along you scurry.

Never a tortoise,
Always the hare,
A speed demon,
Dashing everywhere

Please slow down,
For pity's sake!
Take it easy,
Put on a brake.

You're a million miles an hour,
Living your life too quick.
Please stop and pause to think,
A heart attack is no picnic.

Relax for once,
Take a break.
Come back refreshed,
Make no mistake.

And decide to live,
With no alarm.
Your mind at peace,
In a life of calm.
