A Minority Poem by Rm. Shanmugam Chettiar

A Minority

Religious activities are everywhere;
I have learnt to be a nontheist.
Money spinning is everyone's motto;
I have learnt to hate doing for incentives.
Bragging is in every occasion.
I have learnt to be unassuming.
Multichannel round the clock television;
I have learnt to be away from TV.
Hero worships are at all levels;
I have learnt to undervalue such people.
The majority made me a minority.
