A Month Wasted Poem by Jash Alih

A Month Wasted

Rating: 4.5

Here I am tonight
sitting on a room full of light,
full of light but in my heart it is so dark;
a darkness that will leave you a mark...

A day wasted,
no, it's a month wasted:
I don't want it to be
but wasted it will be.

doing nothing
but trying everything;
doing something
and got nothing.

I think this is just life,
a life that is like a knife.
A knife will make you bleed
even if you don't really need.

Tonight I write,
hoping it'll be all right...
