A New Day Poem by Vera Sidhwa

A New Day

Rating: 5.0

A new day had begun, amongst the daffodils and daisies.
They were all looking at each other in awe.
They wondered why they were so beautiful in the morning.
And the daisy told the daffodil how pretty it was.

A new day had begun, amongst the people at hand.
They couldn't admit how beautiful the other ones were.
And the man told the other man nothing.

A new day had begun, with children holding hands.
Like the daffodil telling the daisy,
They told each other how cute they were.
