I've seen many in this world vain In pursuit of the feign, And getting no matching gain, Chase the vain and incur pain...................... Besides the surface meaning, there is a deeper layer of meaning and I am drawn to it! How many of us like the sparrows fight with imaginary enemies and drain all our energies! A lovely poem, beautifully rhyming and containing profound thoughts. A sure 10
