A pig in the sty
Wished to fly
So he grew wings
And took to the skies.
He flew over
A meandering river,
Stopped and then hovered
Over a rising tower.
A magician who saw him
In the high sky
Cried, "Hey, is that not a pig
Trespassing on the sky! "
So, using a magical trick
He turned the flying pig
Nay, not into a fly
But into a beautiful butterfly
When you look out of your window
Children you may find the piggy out there,
But in case you don't
He is sure to have gone elsewhere!
A beautiful poem filled with humour. I just imagined the pig flying in the sky. I just wondered if all of us could get one magician and get our dreams fulfilled of flying in sky.... Loved reading it.
