A Place Beyond The Veil Poem by Arlene Dery

A Place Beyond The Veil

Rating: 4.0

There's a place beyond the veil,
That's hidden physically.
How can I doubt my Lord is real,
Because I cannot see?
I searched for Him with all my heart,
By faith He nears to me,
Gentle breeze, that soothes my brow,
His touch, so tenderly.
The rays of love come streaming down,
The sun has warmed my soul,
His whispered thoughts are in His Word,
With words that make me whole.
If I think, His heart can't break,
And suffer a day anew,
A morning rose will come to mind,
His tears that made the dew.
You see, our God is everywhere,
With tiny bird that sings,
And rainbow arched beyond the clouds,
With promise that it brings.
How wondrous the Milky Way,
The stars are shining bright,
So our world will not be dark,
He guides us with His light.
There's a place beyond the veil,
That's hidden physically,
I won't doubt my Lord is real,
With everything I see.
