Mighty Red Sea Poem by Arlene Dery

Mighty Red Sea

Rating: 5.0

With no where to turn, and no place to be,
I found my back to, the Mighty Red Sea.
Peril surrounding, my every side,
Enemies charging, no place to hide.
I glance to my left, and to my right,
Nothing but trouble, within my mere sight.
The Chariots are here, right on my path,
I feel the breath, of impending wrath.
Lord! Help me! please come to my aid!
He was already here, with a plan he made.
Lord! I cried, what will I do?
He said, 'Be still, I will fight for you'.
So I looked up, for Him to behold,
My heart lifted up, my faith became bold.
Wonder of wonders, a plan did impart,
That Mighty Red Sea, began to part.
He walked me across, hand in my hand,
Safely He placed me, upon a dry land.
He made a plan, that I couldn't see,
He had a great plan, to deliver me.
