A Poem About Laffy Taffy's Poem by Kewayne Wadley

A Poem About Laffy Taffy's

I've bit into your soul
& I've watched it stretch
And fill my mouth.
You taste delicious and resonate
A special place deep in me
Everytime I think about you.

You've warmed me and
Gave me something to look
forward to, I salivate at the
thought of how sticky you make
my fingers and lips

You taste so good;
Being chewed rolled over &
against my tongue

I've swallowed this feel good
Feeling and I've choked mid-swallow.
Surprised that you didn't go anywhere.
Instead, you stayed lodged in
my throat until I realized
That I needed to relax.
I panicked and looked around wondering why you stopped,
Not realizing the biggest lesson
You've always tried to teach me.

& That's to relax and
go with the flow.
I am glad that you decided
to stick around
The best kind of tangy
