A Poem Of Colour... Poem by Shaun Cronick

A Poem Of Colour...

Yet another gemstone of a poem,
So sophisticated and avant-garde.
A poem that would put to shame,
William Shakespeare The Great Bard.

Who the hell am I kidding,
It's mutton dressed as lamb.
And if Shakespeare were alive,
He would ridicule my sham.

Dear God I need an idea,
Please simply throw me a bone.
To write something wonderful,
A poem of colour not monochrome.
