A Poem's Identity Poem by Shaun Cronick

A Poem's Identity

Rating: 5.0

Poets can become mass murderers one day,
And then lauded life-savers the next.
Then choose to be a prince or a pauper,
Or a warrior woman of the opposite sex.

For imagination knows no earthly bounds,
When it comes to writing a poem's identity.
You can be an animal vegetable even mineral,
Or even a mixed bag of hellish and heavenly.
