A Prayer For Peace In Israel In Gaza In The World Poem by Terence George Craddock

yesterday I prayed a prayer for peace on my knees
for the innocent for the innocent souls caught up in conflict
in Israel in Gaza for innocent souls who now will suffer
as the innocent caught in hate rage conflicts always suffer;
I prayed for all innocent lives on both sides as so few will
do I know many are indifferent to world conflict suffering
who do not believe in sacred life; a right to peace to prosperity will;
not pray at all; of those that pray most; caught up in sides indifferent;

to love thy enemy will pray only for their side the safety;
of only their people their family their loved ones caught
in present horror pain traps these people will not be able;
to endure see beyond their own pain suffering some in pain
so intense chilling terrifying cannot even weep cry eat breathe
some in despair agony will sorrow die; some will pray only for swift;

death or slow cruel; torture death inflicted upon their enemies;
a vile poison pain hate rage; anger revenge blood oaths burn;
through their soul; drowning devouring hate rage torment pains;

but I for God call him Elohim Yahweh YHVH Allah;
Yeshua Jesus or by any name; you consider holy; I will;
pray for all God's children; because God loves them all;

while hating horror their violent sin; I will pray for peace;
for innocent souls in Israel; in Gaza; because God created;
all souls loves innocent souls; hates murder thy enemies;

in prayer I give anger hate pain sorrow rage to God;
ask God repeatedly; to remove any festering pain;
from heart; I pray peace for Israel Gaza the world;

humanities pitiful horror story in all wars; in hate;
pain too sharp deep piercing impaling; to carry;
