A Promising Joy Poem by J Sheba Anandhi

A Promising Joy

Victory went on a parade
With a divine blessing,
A promising joy was in fact following,
It turned out that the parade
Was indeed a luring charade,
How was it all very disappointing
To the joy that was so promising!
Did I try to get trammeled!
Good that the verity got unraveled,
Even now not much repelled,
Clearly nowhere near marveled,
The promising joy would also front
A time for genuine commitment.
