A Protective Stance Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

A Protective Stance

Looking into a bright new morning, mountains looming before
me in all their glory, breeze blowing leaves daintily on a
palo verde tree.

Touching this soul with an interior energy and peaceful serenity,
holding out it's branches in a protective stance, feeling like
it's hugging and loving me in it's desert atmosphere.
