A Pure Love - Poem by Hasmukh Amathalal

Neither you will be first
Nor will be the last
The love is moving very fast
See to it that it doesn't blast

Make sure it is pure
You are but very sure
You are on your chose way
See to it that it is not drifting away

You may be shown clear sky
You may still have to feel very shy
He may have world in your presence
Accept gladly without feeling tense

You have offered whatever you could
You are cool and ground firmly stood
Though it is not tested yet for proof
You are waiting for him on the roof

You have no option to go back
So much is now at stake
You are half asleep and half awake
Time for action and decision to take

You may be given hollow promises
It may have near misses
You may be living in complete dream
You want be able to shout or scram

I wish it turns into reality
To love others is good quality
After all it is peaceful mission
There is scope for frank admission
