A Rabbit Ran For Its Life

Hearing approaching lawnmower, a rabbit ran to escape.
From a hiding place, it dashed out like a flying arrow.
I was very much surprised to see this very fast speed
Even I had known that a rabbit could run fast.

Now hiding near a pine tree, this rabbit remained so scared
Even its brown hair mixed very well with brown pine needles.
With darting eyes, it appeared ready to run again
But it was waiting for a right moment for a safe escape.

In cutting mode, my riding lawnmower was thundering.
